Overview
Financial assistance for SC/ST/OBC students of Madhya Pradesh studying at post-matriculation level to promote access to higher education.
Eligibility Criteria
- Must be a permanent resident of Madhya Pradesh.
- Must belong to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), or Other Backward Class (OBC).
- Must be enrolled in a recognised post-matric course (Class 11/12, UG, PG, Ph.D, Professional).
- Annual family income limit: SC/ST < ₹2.5 Lakhs, OBC < ₹1.5 Lakhs.
- Parents must not be employed in any government institution.
- Must meet minimum attendance requirements.
- Must have valid Aadhaar e-KYC linked to Samagra ID and Bank Account.
Detailed Benefits
The MPTAAS scholarship provides a monthly stipend ranging from ₹230 to ₹1,500 for day scholars and ₹380 to ₹2,800 for hostellers, depending on the course. It also covers full tuition fee reimbursement, hostel fees, and allowances for books and travel.
